QHow long is the course?
We recommend that health professionals dedicate 8 hours in order to gain a good grasp of the medico-legal principles of consent to treatment. If health professionals want to gain a comprehensive understanding, they should also cover the material that they are directed to in the further reading sections. In this case they should aim to devote a minimum of 40 hours to their studies.
QHow long do I have to complete the course once I purchase the licence?
The licence fee grants you access to the resource for one year. You can take your time and work at a speed that is comfortable for you.
QHow much does it cost for the annual licence fee?
The cost for an individual user licence is A$150 (excl GST). Discounts are provided for more than 10 user licences. Please contact us for a quote.
QIs the resource content maintained?
Yes. The resource is updated by Dr Malcolm Parker, Associate Professor of Medical Ethics at the University of Queensland, to ensure that the latest relevant medico-legal and ethical concepts are covered.
